Credit Cost per Video

Three things set the cost of a video: the model, the resolution, and the clip length. Credits are charged per second of video, so the table shows the per-second rate and the total for each length you can pick.

Text-to-video and image-to-video cost the same. The default setting is 768P at 5 seconds. Credits are refunded automatically if a generation fails.

Common questions about plans, credits, and billing.

What is the difference between one-time, monthly, and yearly?

One-Time lets you buy a block of credits with no subscription. The credits stay valid for 365 days. Monthly and Yearly are subscriptions that refill your credits automatically; Yearly is billed once a year and works out about 20% cheaper than paying monthly. You can switch between them at any time.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards via Creem, our PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card details are encrypted end-to-end and never stored on our servers. Creem handles all payment data.

When do my credits expire?

It depends on where the credits came from. Free signup credits are valid for 7 days from the day your account is created. One-time credit packs are valid for 365 days from purchase. Monthly subscription credits are valid until the end of the current billing cycle and do not roll over; the next cycle issues a fresh batch. Yearly subscription credits are valid for the full subscription year. When you generate, the batch closest to expiring is spent first, so paid credits are never wasted while an older batch is still valid. Each batch and its expiry date are listed on your credits page under Settings.

How many credits does image generation cost?

The cost varies by model and quality setting — full details are in the Credit Cost per Image table on this page. Quick reference: Z-Image Turbo costs 10 credits, Seedream 4.5 costs 40 credits, Grok Imagine 2.0 costs 60–90 credits depending on resolution and mode, Seedream 5.0 Pro costs 70 credits, Nano Banana 2 costs 80–160 credits depending on resolution, and GPT Image 2 costs 20–220 credits depending on quality tier.

What happens if a generation fails?

Credits are automatically refunded to your balance, no manual request needed. This covers technical failures on our end and upstream model failures. Generations blocked for content policy violations are not refunded — by submitting a prompt you accept that policy violations forfeit the credit cost.

Can I use generated images commercially?

Yes. You keep full rights to every image you generate. You can use them for personal and commercial projects, social media, and marketing materials with no extra licensing fees.

What is your refund policy?

Credits are refunded automatically for technical generation failures — no request needed. For billing disputes or incorrect charges, contact support@z-image-ai.run within 30 days of the charge with your order ID. We do not issue refunds for credits consumed by completed generations or blocked for policy violations.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel any time via Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or by emailing support@z-image-ai.run. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to remaining credits until then. No cancellation fee.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You can change your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades give you immediate access to the new credits; downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
